Meet The Founder

I was born and raised in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, and moved to the United States with my family in 1999.

Honestly, I can’t remember a time when art wasn’t part of my upbringing. I still remember creating my very first drawing and falling in love with the process. I remember the feel of the pencil in my hand, the side of my hand gliding across a fresh, clean sheet of A4 paper, the sweet sound of colored pencil tips touching and scratching across the page, and the tiny remnants of an eraser left behind after correcting an unwanted stroke.

My world revolved around recreating Disney characters like Donald Duck and his crew, Sonic from SEGA video games, all kinds of superheroes, and even characters from my favorite movies. Somehow, I could look at an image and recreate it from memory. It just came naturally to me.

In the early 2000s, technology and the web opened up a whole new world for me. Shortly after graduating from Katherine Gibbs College in Boston, I jumped headfirst into learning HTML and CSS. Within just two short weeks, I had launched my very first website.

Well, more than 20 years have passed in the world of technology, but art has always been in my DNA.

What's this next chapter?

On this website, I share my discoveries, failures, and everything I learn along the way.

I create original paintings on canvas and hardboard panels using high-quality acrylic paints. I also experiment with photography and digital art.

My subjects range from abstract concepts to the natural world around me. Most importantly, I want my work to carry a message and a purpose, sharing the message of Jesus with the world whenever possible.

When Not Designing

You will certainly find me dedicating my life to my faith, wife, our three beautiful children, taking photos, making music and art, building furniture for the house and enjoying quality time with my friends.
