“Be Still” is a self-reminder of the one who knows what to do, even when things get out of control.
In the book of Mark 4.35-40 Jesus had been preaching to a multitude of people from the sea shore. At the end of the day, He told His disciples to sail to the other side, but they faced a ton of bad weather. The disciples were desperate… while Jesus was in the stern of the boat, “sleeping on a pillow”.
The best part of this whole story is – Jesus was in the boat.
Regardless of what you're going through, know that things will be alright, even if the storm seems unbearable.
